We arrived in Delhi a day early and our transfer driver was awaiting to take us to the Golden Tulip Hotel. Wow!; what an introduction to the Indian traffic. We were amazed how everyone misses each other by a whisker. The next day we met the rest of the group and our tour guide leader, Shivam. He took us through Delhi on a very comfortable 20 seat bus. The driver and co-driver was excellent and skilled. After Delhi it was on to Jaipur then Ranthambore ( where we got to see a tiger in the wild ). Next was Agra and of course the Taj Mahal. During this stage of our trip Shivam was a wealth of knowledge and only too happy to make our trip very memorable. Anyone who has the luck to have Shivam as their guide will be truly blessed. Sadly we had to part company as our next stage was Varanasi and a different guide. All in all our trip through the "golden triangle" was so much more than expected and we cannot recommend highly enough. Everything went as planned, on time, and without issue. I will review later stages of our trip in a separate review but suffice to say Special Holidays delivered!
We have just returned from India doing the Holi trip. It was an absolute fantastic experience the places we visited were amazing and the trip was made by our guide Gaurang. He knew the best spots to see the iconic sights and the best times to be there. Would not hesitate to travel with him again.
