A wonderful tour hitting the highlights of the golden triangle . Very fast paced, but everything was worth the early starts and long days. The transport was modern and comfortable. Our guide Rajiv was excellent and was very informative and organised everything so we could make the most of the cooler hours in the morning and evening. Our driver Vikram was great and was always ready with water and hand sanitizer when needed. They were both friendly, kind and courteous. Overall it was an amazing trip and I had an excellent time.

First and foremost, Sunil (our guide) and Kapil (our driver) deserve special recognition. Visiting India had been a lifelong dream for both my father and me. While India itself is a phenomenal country and this tour is exceptional in its own right, it was Sunil and Kapil who transformed this trip from a wonderful holiday into a truly unforgettable experience. India is famous for its enormous population, vibrant energy, and seemingly chaotic traffic. As a visitor from the Western world, it’s fascinating to witness. Yet throughout it all, Kapil navigated every road with remarkable skill, patience, and calmness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always accommodating when we wanted to make additional stops or visit somewhere outside the itinerary. The car was kept spotless every day, stocked with cold water in the scorching heat, and provided a welcome oasis between destinations. Kapil is a humble, kind, and highly professional gentleman. As for Sunil… where do I begin? Sunil is the very definition of a true gentleman. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and possesses an incredible level of emotional intelligence. Time and time again, he anticipated our needs and wishes before we had even expressed them ourselves. His knowledge of the many, many sites we visited was genuinely impressive, and every day seemed to bring another surprise that left us amazed. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. During our trip, my father experienced a medical emergency. Sunil remained calm, decisive, and caring throughout. Without hesitation, he adapted our plans and ensured my father’s wellbeing became the priority. His support during that situation was invaluable. Throughout the journey, he made us feel safe, informed, and completely looked after. What struck me most was the respect Sunil clearly commands among his peers. Everywhere we travelled, people spoke highly of him. He carried himself with confidence, professionalism, and kindness, always remaining in control of any situation. While I don’t believe travellers can specifically request their guide and driver on this tour, if your experience is anything like ours with Sunil and Kapil, you are in for an incredible journey. I won’t spoil the attractions themselves, but I will say that India is an absolutely breathtaking country. The people are friendly, welcoming, and polite. From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in culture, history, colour, and tradition. Sunil was always happy to accommodate special requests alongside the planned itinerary. Whether it was arranging tailor-made clothing, helping us shop for jewellery, visiting animal sanctuaries, or experiencing local life, he always did his utmost to make it happen while ensuring we still saw all the key attractions. My father and I have fairly high expectations when it comes to hotels, and we were extremely impressed overall. The hotels in Agra and Jaipur were spectacular—beautiful properties with excellent staff, high standards of cleanliness, and all the amenities a Western traveller could need. The food was consistently good across all the hotels. As expected, hotel dining is generally more expensive than eating outside, but it was safe, enjoyable, and caused us no issues during our visit. Bottled, sealed water was readily available throughout. The only slight disappointment was the first hotel in Delhi, the Radisson Blu. While still a perfectly pleasant hotel, it lacked the warmth, cleanliness, and “wow factor” of the hotels we experienced later in the trip. So if your first impression is similar to ours, don’t worry—the accommodation only gets better as the journey continues. My father was 69 at the time of our visit and struggles with mobility. Sunil arranged a wheelchair whenever needed and ensured that every part of the trip remained comfortable and accessible. Thanks to his care and thoughtfulness, my father was able to experience this incredible country in comfort and fulfil a lifelong dream. For that, I will always be grateful.
