Special Holiday follows Green, Sustainable and Responsible Tourism

Special Holiday have undertaken various corporate social responsibility projects for socio economic development and safe, green and healthy tourism. For every spending a visitor does in buying any package or services from us, a part of it goes into the CSR activities that we take quite regularly with an aim to follow sustainable and responsible tourism. Some of those are listed below including for the upliftment of economically weaker section, imparting education, saving environment by planting trees and rewarding the meritorious students thereby encouraging them to take up more and more of Tourism related jobs and ventures with an aim towards skill manpower development in tourism.

Adoption of 15 economically week Sr. Citizens


Special Holiday Adopted 15 Senior Citizen old age persons, those who were economically weaker and the needy, who don’t even have enough clothing, food and healthcare. We changed our perspective, instead of considering this as a project to help, we view them as people to love and respect. So, in every month of 1st Sunday, we adopted these senior citizens for the whole year after year since July 2018. Our Tourism Trust plays an integral role in it.

Adoption of National Heritage monument


Special Holiday took an extra leap and initiated to Adopt a National Heritage Monument -“Sher Shah Suri Gate” in New Delhi – “Preserving the past for the future”. We are highly grateful to Ministry of Tourism for giving us the opportunity as ours is been among the first 7 in the country who were shortlisted for taking this initiative.

Save Environment


After having achieved unprecedented success in increasing the green cover, efforts have been sustained to plant more and more trees on vacant lands through active involvement and participation. WE are dedicated towards our flagship project of “Tree Plantation” which we have done at Akshardham Temple with the presence and blessings of Pramukh Swamiji. Swaminarayan Akshardham temple in New Delhi, India, is the world's largest comprehensive Hindu temple. It measures 356 ft (109 m). long, 316 ft (96 m). wide and 141 ft (43 m). high, covering an area of 86,342 sq ft (8,021.4 m2). More than 300,000,000 volunteer hours went into making the complex. Over 8,000 volunteers from across the world participated in building it. Mandir built from intricately carved sandstone and marble The grand, ancient-style, ornately hand-carved stone temple has been built without structural steel within five years by 11,000 artisans and volunteers. The complex of Akshardham Temple in Delhi displays numerous traditional aspects, beautiful architecture, Indian culture and spirituality. In the centre the main complex is built on the principles of Vastu Shastra and Pancharatra Shashtra which is called as Akshardham Mandir. Akshardham Temple of Delhi is one of the prime attractions in Delhi where one can witness exclusive architectural charm with more than 234 beautifully carved pillars, 9 elaborate domes, 20 quadrangle spires and 20000 sculptures of spiritual personalities from India. Our Tourism Trust plays an integral role in it.

Free food Donation


“Ann daan” the sacred tradition of offering food foir free to the needy and poor. Hundreds of people from the underprivileged sections of the society are provided with nutritious and hygienic food in sufficient quantity under the supervision of the temple management - Guruvayoor Temple, Delhi. Our Tourism Trust plays an integral role in it.

Supporting the Silent & Deaf school in Bikaner


An emotional experience of having visited and contributing to the silent and deaf school in Bikaner that has touched us all. Special Holiday have contributed well for their upbringing and wellness. It was an initiative by us with an aim of assisting and working and contributing towards accessible tourism. Our Tourism Trust plays an integral role in it.

As part of our ongoing exercise of imparting education to the needy and poor we have done contribution to a School in Pushta area near Akshardham.

Apni Dharohar


We moved ahead and took the initiative and challenge of Adopting a National Heritage Monument -“Sher Shah Suri Gate” in New Delhi – “Preserving the past for the future”. We have received the award from the Hon. Home Minister of India Shri Rajnath Singhji and Tourism Minister Shri Alphons Kannantham ji.


As our ongoing exercise towards social economic development as part of responsible tourism, we further extended help in imparting education to the children from the economically weaker section and assist in education and food.

As part of our ongoing Corporate social responsibility we have moved ahead in contributing to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and also Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Relief fund for combating, containment and relief efforts against the coronavirus outbreak and similar pandemic like situations in the future.
