Kathmandu is the capital and largest metropolitan city of Nepal. The city is the urban core of the Kathmandu Valley in the Himalayas, which also contains two sister cities namely Patan or Lalitpur, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to its southeast and Bhaktapur, 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) to its east. Kathmandu is not only the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal but also the headquarters of the Central Region (Madhyamanchal) among the five development regions constituted by the 14 administrative zones of Nepal located at the central part of the country. After breakfast visit the majestic golden-roofed Pashupatinath Temple. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, an important site of Hindu pilgrimage. Later visit Bouddhanath, one of the biggest stupa in the world, which serves as the centre of Tibetan Buddhism. In the afternoon visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Patan Durbar Square. Marvel at the ancient palaces, temples and shrines with their splendid courtyards, including the major monuments of Talaju Temple, Krishna Temple, and Golden Temple. Night stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast depart by surface to Chitwan. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Chitwan National Park has long been one the country' treasures of natural wonders. The park is situated in south central Nepal, covering 932 sq. km. in the subtropical lowlands of the inner TERAI. The area comprising the Tikauli forest-from Rapti river to the foothills of the Mahabharat-extending over an area of 175 sq. km. was declared Mrigakunja in 1959. In 1963, the area south of Rapti river was demarcated as a rhinoceros sanctuary. The area was gazetted as the country's first National Park in 1973. Enjoy Tharu Culture Show. Night stay in Chitwan.

Rest of the day is free to stroll around the Phewa Lakeside area. Night stay in Pokhara.
