Description

Just at a distance of 100 km from Aurangabad 30 rock-hewn caves of Ajanta discovered by Britishers in 1819 which resides in the Sahyadri hills and it almost took 600 years to create. The caves are wonderfully carved using chisels or hammers once being the housing to Buddhists results in wonderful painting and sculptures.
Just adding to the beauty and aura of Ajanta temples and monasteries of Ellora are a treat to the visitors at a distance of 30 km from Aurangabad. The place has 12 Mahayana Buddhist caves (550-750 A.D.), 34 cave temples, 5 caves of the Jain faith (800-1000 A.D.). , 17 Hindu caves (600-875 A.D.) and 22 more caves recently discovered. The journey will be carry forwarded by visiting best of all is the Kailas Temple hand chiselled carved over a single rock, the temple includes a pavilion, vestibule, gateway, Sanctorum, sanctum, courtyard and tower and making Ajanta and Ellora a memorable place.

Cancellation Policy

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
