The beautiful Ajanta Caves located in Aurangabad are famous for their unique layout. Situated at a distance of about sixty-two miles from Aurangabad, the Ajanta caves are a glorious example of the architecture prevalent in the First century. Believed to have been built between A.D 629 and 645, the caves first found mention in the accounts of the Chinese pilgrim and traveller Hiuen Tsang who was known to have travelled the sub-continent extensively. He was believed to have visited India between A.D 629 and 645.

Ajanta has a total of 30 cave temples many of which are crescent-shaped gorges in the hills of the Sahyadri ranges. There are beautiful waterfalls and gorges in the area that are added tourist attractions. The caves of Ajanta are perhaps the most frequented tourist spots in Aurangabad. The temples are believed to be the oldest places of worship in the entire state of Maharashtra.

Cancellation Policy

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
