Located in the southeast region of Sri Lanka, the island nation, Yala National park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Located 300km away from Colombo, bordering the Indian Ocean, the park has five blocks and some parks. Previously a wildlife sanctuary, it was designated the status of the national park in 1938. This National park plays a crucial role in the conservation of Srilankan Leopards, Srilankan Elephants, and aquatic birds. With a wide range of flora and fauna like the mangroves, medicinal plants, grasslands, birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, amphibians, invertebrates this National park is the most visited park in Sri Lanka. The best time to visit the Yala national park is between February and July.

Birds:

Yala is one of the important bird areas of Srilanka and its hosts 215 bird species like Rock pigeon, Sri Lanka junglefowl, Sri Lanka wood pigeon, black-capped bulbul, etc.

Mammals:

There are 44 mammal species in the Yala National park, including the Sri Lankan Elephant. Some of them are Leopard, wild water buffalo, Srilankan sloth bear etc

Reptiles:

There are many reptiles like Indian cobra, Sri Lankan flying snake, Russell's viper, mugger crocodile etc. 

Other Species:

You can also watch a variety of amphibians, fish, and crabs here. A variety of butterfly species can also be found here. 

Other than safari you can also go for beach walks and site seeing.

Cancellation Policy:
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
