The Kopan Monastery is situated on the outskirts of Kathmandu, Nepal. The monastery was founded by Thubten Yeshe and Zopa Rinpoche. The monastery is a popular destination for visitors as it conducts recreational activities exclusively for its visitors. It is the best place to learn the basics of meditation as well as Tibetan Buddhism. They're a very popular one month course held every November. The course is followed by a seven-day retreat that is optional. Visitors can attend daily dharma talks at the Kopan Monastery at 10 A.M every morning. Though the place is flooded during the weekdays, it is exceptionally crowded on Saturdays,

The humongous infrastructure of the monastery is capable of housing 360 monks. The monastery includes a Bodhi tree, statues, prayer wheels, prayer flags, and a colorful Buddha Relic Stupa. The Khachoe Ghakyil Nunnery is considered to be a twin of the monastery. The visitors are expected to hear the chanting of mantras for pujas and some traditional compositions of Tibetan music. The monastery is known for delivering long and daily courses in yoga as well as meditation. Breath-taking views of Kathmandu can also be seen from this point of the city.

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking Rate is based on a minimum 2 person sharing. We reserve the right to cancel in case the minimum no. of customers required for the visit on any date is not met.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
