Description

Edakkal cave is naturally formed caves. It is located in a remote area of Edakkal from a distance of 25 km in the Wayanad district of Kerala. The cave is filled with pictures and writings of ancient times that date back to 6000 BC. This is the Neolithic man period. These Stone Age carvings from Edakkal are rare to find. It is the only known evidence and example of Neolithic men from South India. This place is not only visited by tourist and natives, they are visited by Archaeologists too. It is frequently visited by Archaeologists for research purposes.

The carvings and paintings found in this cave are found to be 8000 years old by the Archaeologists. This place serves as a challenging spot for trekkers and adventurers. It is not suitable for kids and elderly people as it consists of paths that are rough and filled with rocks. The steep and sloppy rough path is crossed with great care. However, adventurers and trekkers love this spot.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
