Description

The Bhimbetka caves are one of the famous archaeological sites in India. It belongs to the prehistoric Palaeolithic and Mesolithic periods. It was the dwelling of prehistoric men in the era of Palaeolithic period. This site is filled with the historic paintings. In-fact these caves have a record of consisting of a huge number of paintings in an archaeological site that was ever discovered in India. These paintings are in a clear and good way that enables the archaeologists to study and conduct research on it. There are more than 600 caves with paintings that belong to the prehistoric era of the Palaeolithic period. Among these 600 caves, 12 are opened and are permitted for visitors and tourists.

Most of these cave paintings include inscriptions such as animals, dance, hunting, etc. The Bhimbetka caves are filled with the oldest cave paintings in India. According to the research conducted on these paintings by the Archaeologists, these paintings are 30,000 years old. These paintings are coloured using vegetables. These paintings are categorized under seven periods. These caves were first discovered by VS Wakanda in 1957. These caves are considered as the proofs of the early beings and act as evidence for their painting and creativity skills. The Bhimbetka caves have been listed in the World Heritage site list by UNESCO in 2003.

Cancellation Policy :
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy :
