The multifaceted Dakshina Chitra museum is undoubtedly a star attraction in Chennai. The main purpose of the museum is to, promote and protect the various important aspects of our heritage and to familiarize and acquaint the younger generations with our heritage. The Dakshina Chitra Heritage Museum is replete with items from the history that have great artistic and cultural significance. The museum began with a project of the renowned Madras Craft Foundation which was an NGO, formed to shoulder the effort of preserving Dravidian forms of art.

The Museum is situated at a picturesque location in front of the Bay of Bengal about twenty-five kilometres south of Central Chennai. The museum consists of a total of 18 authentic historical houses that host contextual exhibitions in each of the houses from time to time.

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking Rate is based on a minimum 2 person sharing. We reserve the right to cancel in case the minimum no. of customers required for the visit on any date is not met.

Cancellation Policy:
• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the visit, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the visit, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the visit, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy:
•The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days
