After breakfast city tour of Srinagar visiting Shalimar Bagh, Jehangir, the Mughal emperor, for his wife Nur Jahan, planted 15 km from Srinagar, Shalimar Bagh in 1616. Shaded by magnificent chinar trees, the Shalimar, is a series of stone pavilions and flowing water, with paint box bright flowerbeds.
