Some of the tourist attractions in the Yerevan city are Matenadaran, Yerevan Cascade, Republic Square, Victory Park, Blue Mosque, etc. The next stop in this Armenia holiday tour package is Garni. Garni is one of the main villages located in the city of Armenia. The main tourist attraction of Garni is the Garni temple. Some of the tourist attractions in Garni are Garni Temple, Garni Gorge, Geghard, World War II memorial, etc. The next stop in this tour package of Armenia is Geghard. It is a monastery and is listed as World Heritage site by the UNESCO. It is located near to Garni Temple. Next is Sevan, one of the famous resorts in Armenia tour. This region is a natural and protected one. The final stop in Dilijan. It is located in the northern region of Armenia. It is famous among the locals as well as natives for its resorts, spas, handicraft shops, craft works, etc.
Day 01: Arrival
Arrival to International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Yerevan City Tour - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Start the tour by exploring our beautiful city which is sometimes called the “pink city” because of the color of the stone. Walking down the beautiful streets of Yerevan, you will come close to a nice place called “Cascade”, where you will see lot of modern statues of unusual shapes and looks. We will visit Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum dedicated to the victims of Armenian Genocide. Take trip to Garni. This Pagan Temple built in the 1st century AD. It is the only temple that has been preserved from the Pagan times in Armenia. It was devoted to the god Mihr, who was the god of cleanness. In 1679 it was destroyed by an earthquake. In the 1975 the Temple was restored. Then we will continue our trip to Geghard Monastery. Its name came from the legendary lance that was used to pierce the body of Christ. It has been kept here for centuries. Though the exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid – 13th century. Get back to Yerevan and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Yerevan - Sevan - Tsaghkadzor - Dilijan - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Lake Sevan. Visit Sevanavank monastery from where you will enjoy a breathtaking view. Visit mountainous Tsgahkadzor, a spa town and a popular health resort. Also you may take ropeway and admire the breathtaking nature, of Tsgahkadzor. Visit Kecharis church . Head to Dilijan. Walking down the beautiful street of Sharambeyan you may enter a souvenir shop and take souvenirs and gifts for your friends. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Zvartnots International airport to catch a flight.
