Venice is often known as the ideal honeymoon spot in the world. It is also called the floating city. The Venetian city tour is a one of a kind experience for the tourists where they can experience the joy of sailing in Gondola and steamboats across the glitzy streets of Venice. The tour also proceeds to some of the other most renowned towns and cities across the country. Florence is known for old 14th-century mansions and vineyards.  The tourists can also get up, close and personal with the cities by warming up to the local people to learn more about the popular culture and history. Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival in Venice

Welcome to the Venice - one of the most charming cities in Italy. Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver at the airport, who transfers you to the hotel for the check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Venice Sightseeing

After having delicious breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide in the lobby and enjoy a wonderful city tour of all the must-see places. Your sightseeing program starts with a visit to St. Mark's Basilica, where you can see the astonishing Pala D'Oro altar as well as the Treasury with numerous exhibits surviving from Venice's notorious raid on Constantinople back in 1204. Next, you go up to Loggia dei Cavalli to enjoy the best panoramic views of St. Mark's Square. Next on your list is the tour of the Doges Palace that includes crossing the Bridge of Sighs, visiting the old prisons and lushly decorated chambers of the Palace. As a grand finale of this day you embark on a 1-hour boat ride along Venice's major canals! Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 03: Murano, Burano & Torcello Boat Tour & Train to Florence

Following breakfast at your hotel, prepare to make one of the fascinating day-trips from Venice - to the islands. Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands Excursion to the northern lagoon of Venice by private motor launch to visit the most famous islands: Murano, world known for glass-making, Burano for the hand-made lace and its colourful houses. Torcello as the first human settlement in the lagoon. Departure time: 09:30 Meeting point: Serenissima Motoscafi yellow kiosk in front of the Hotel Danieli, Excelsior building, 20 minutes prior to departure. After your day-trip is over, return to the hotel, check-out and meet your private driver for a transfer to the railway station. In about 2 hours you reach your next destination, Florence. Upon arrival, your private driver meets you at the railway station and transfers you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Florence Sightseeing

Following sumptuous Italian breakfast at your hotel, meet with your private guide and go on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Florence's highlights. Today's program includes visits to the Duomo with its famous Bell-tower and its Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist. As you proceed to the main square of the city - Piazza Della Repubblica - you pass by the touristic area of the Strozzi Palace a bustling shopping street, via Tornabuoni. After visiting a private chapel embellished with fresco paintings of late 1400, you cross the Santa Trinita bridge and enter in Oltrarno where you see numerous local craftsmen shops and beautiful Santo Spirito Church and Convent, built for the Augustinian monks. In this very part of the city, you can find the first official work of Michelangelo dating back to the age when he was 17 years old. We also visit the Pitti Palace as well before ending the tour on the Ponte Vecchio. After the tour, you return to your hotel and enjoy an evening at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Day trip to Pisa & Lucca

Enjoy yet another finger-licking breakfast at your hotel and embark on a beautiful journey outside of Florence. Today you see Pisa with its famous Leaning Tower that you can climb. Your next stop is lesser known Italian gem called Lucca that is encircled by an unspoiled Renaissance wall. These two Tuscan towns make for an easy day-trip from Florence. After the tour, you are transferred back to Florence and have the rest of the evening for free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Ancient Rome Sightseeing

After a breakfast in your hotel, your driver takes you to the train station for your departure to Rome. An hour and a half later you arrive and are transferred to your downtown hotel. After check into your hotel, meet your guide for a stroll through the very heart of Rome. Today you see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of this Eternal city. You explore the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini and many others. After the tour, you return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Vatican Sightseeing

Following breakfast meet your guide and head to a walled enclave and the world’s smallest independent state - Vatican. When inside the Vatican, you visit the Apostolic Palace and private apartments of Julius II decorated by Raphael. Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of Art the world has ever known. Your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica where you see a stunning Pieta -a world-famous work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo, and Bernini's impressive Papal Canopy, a legacy left to the Basilica by the Barberini family. The ending point of your tour is at St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini. After that, you return to the hotel and have a free evening to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Free day to savor Rome

Today is reserved for you to explore and enjoy Rome on your own. After breakfast you can do some independent sightseeing, shop for souvenirs or have a good rest. Please let us know if you would like us to arrange any activities for you. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Departure

This is the last day of your amazing tour to Italy! After breakfast, your driver meets you at the hotel lobby and takes you to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future vacations!
