Day 01: Arrival Helsinki
Meet and greet upon arrival at Helsinki Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check into Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: In Helsinki
Breakfast at Hotel. In the morning, make your own way to the starting point of Tour of Helsinki. Admire top city attractions such as Senate Square – home to Helsinki Cathedral – and Temppeliaukio Church, a place of worship and concert venue that is carved from local bedrock. Pass the functionalist Lasipalatsi building or perhaps hop off at Helsinki Olympic Stadium – Finland’s largest stadium. Architecture harks back to days of Russian and Swedish rule, and the city’s maritime heritage gives its history an interesting edge. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Helsinki – Porvoo – Helsinki
Breakfast at Hotel. Today we proceed for an Excursion to Porvoo. Travelling by car for approximately 45 minutes you reach the historic town of Porvoo, which first became a shipping port during the 1300's. It soon was home to a bustling community of tradesmen who built a colourful wooden town around the water ways. Today, these wooden buildings remain, under protected status but many of which are still private residences, some to the same families that founded Porvoo. The town has expanded and is also home to a number of new developments, tastefully modern or renovation projects. It is still a bustling community during summer and a favourite in winter for collecting Chrstimas craft gifts. Some free time to explore this city and then return to Helsinki. The streets of the old town are lines with antique, craft and independent stores and food shops. This is the place to pick up souvenirs and local delicacies to take home, as a reminder of your time in Finland. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Helsinki – Tampere
Breakfast at Hotel. A departure transfer to Helsinki train station to connect your train to Tampere. Arrive in Tampere and transfer to your hotel. Check into your hotel and day free to explore this beautiful city on own. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Tampere – Turku
Breakfast at Hotel. In the morning, departure transfer to Tampere station to connect your train to Turku. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Check into your hotel and rest of the day is free to visit Turku Cathedral and explore rest of the city. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Turku – Helsinki
Breakfast at Hotel. There will be a departure transfer to the Turku train station to your connect train to Helsinki. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon to explore this city or for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Depart Helsinki
Breakfast at Hotel. Day free at leisure until departure transfer to Airport.
