General FAQs

  • How many people will be on my trip?

Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travelers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.

This was a great tour of the most touristy areas of Sri Lanka. The tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their work. They provided lots and lots of information about each of the sites visited. The driver stayed with us for the entire duration of the trip and did an amazing job of taking us everywhere we needed. The hotel in Agra was great, but the hotel in Jaipur, although nice, modern, and comfortable, was a bit out of the way and breakfast not up to standards. Overall, this was a great tour and is highly recommended.

We were two women travelling alone and had a great, seamless, comfortable, safe and super fun experience with Exotic Luxury Holiday through our tour in Sri Lanka. I would really recommend to anyone, they will help you navigate through the country and the culture. Our driver was super attentive with us and the guides also did a great job.

We had a very good experience with Exotic Luxury Holiday. I was planning this trip on my own and it was getting tedious. I found this tour agency based on good reviews on the internet and decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. He took all the stress out of booking and handling stuff at the local level. They are flexible and gracious enough to incorporate changes we suggested in the itinerary. Overall good experience and had a carefree trip.
