Nha Trang is one of the coastal areas of Vietnam. It is located in the southern part and is famous for the beaches, islands, nature reserves, coral reefs, etc. Ho Chi Minh is popularly known as Saigon and is located in the southern part of Vietnam. Here French products and materials are easily available at affordable prices. Mekong tour is a river that is one of the famous tourist attractions of Vietnam tour. Itinerary


Day 01: Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam with beautiful tree-lined streets and colonial buildings, a heaven of vendor foods and hospitable people. Arrive in NoiBai International Airport, our guide will be waiting there to take you to your hotel in the city center for a short rest.

In the afternoon, take a rickshaw tour along the streets of Hanoi, taking in the vibrant Old Quarter, then savor a Vietnamese dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Hanoi -Vegetable Village - City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you travel out of Hanoi city center to the suburban areas for a half-day eco-tour discovering the local life. You will get picked up from your hotel lobby around 7:30 am then set out on a 45-min drive to Tien Le Vegetable village, about 18km to the west of Hanoi.

Arrive in the peaceful village, our local host and guide will take you on a wonderful visit to a market in the countryside. Wandering around the stalls selling food, meat, veggie, etc…you can try bargaining for some ingredients used in the coming cooking session. All of them are newly harvested and fresh!

When you get back from the market, you will put on farming clothes and bring farming tools to the field, where many local people are working since early morning.  Prepare to get dirty as you will be doing some farming activities like plowing, growing vegetables, watering and fertilizing…Come back to your host family for a cooking session and lunch.

In the afternoon, take a guided tour visiting some main sites of Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex (you just pass by), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Women’s Museum. In the evening, enjoy the Water Puppet Show - a traditional art form having its roots from wet rice culture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on Cruise

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out on a 3-4 hour journey to Halong Bay – a natural wonder of the world. Spend 1 night onboard an elegant junk, cruising on the emerald water to the far and less touched areas of Halong; it is a lifetime experience that you will never forget!

Arrive at the dock around noon, and then you will embark on the cruise, followed by a delicious lunch while the cruise sails further to the secluded, island-dotted bay. You will join the cruise's activities such as visiting cave and sandstone islands, kayaking...At night, relax on the sun deck or go squid fishing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Fly to Danang – Hoian

Breakfast at the hotel. Wake up early and take advantage of the early bird to capture the most beautiful moments of the bay during sunrise then attend a Tai Chi lesson with other passengers. Light breakfast is served with pastries and coffee while your cruise continues sailing through the islands. Depending on each cruise, you may visit nearby islands in a row boat then navigate back to the Halong jetty. Pack your luggage and enjoy the brunch onboard before disembarkation.

Our driver will be waiting at the jetty to take you back to the Hanoi Airport for your onward flight to Danang. Arrival in Danang, our driver and guide will take you to your hotel in Hoian for check-in. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Hoian Walking Tour - Boat trip

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will enjoy a leisure walking trip along the narrow streets of Hoian, discovering all the main sites of this charming ancient town. First stop is the Japanese Covered Bridge - the Hoian symbol, which is constructed in the early 1600's by the Japanese community. Other possible stops are the old houses and Chinese Assembly Halls. There are also a lot of pagodas for visitors who are Buddhist like the Ong Pagoda, Quan Am PhatTu Minh Huong Pagoda.

In the afternoon, take a boat trip to a nearby island to visit a ceramic craft village where you can see how local people produce ceramics products. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Hoian - Danang - Hue

After breakfast, check out the hotel then set out on a 3-hour drive to Hue. Stop en route for a photo-shoot of the stunning view over the Lang Co beach. Arrive in Hue, check-in your hotel for a short rest then spend the afternoon on a guided tour wandering around the city. Start with the Royal Citadel then visit the Imperial Museum and conclude the day with the vibrant Dong Ba market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Hue - Fly to Saigon

After breakfast starts the day with a boat trip along the poetic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Considered the iconic symbol of Hue, Thien Mu Pagoda is among the most fascinating and ancient pagodas of the city. Leaving the pagoda, we continue our journey to visit the Minh Mang Tomb before heading to Hue Airport for your domestic flight to Saigon. Arrive in Saigon; our driver will take you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - City tour

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will travel for about 70km to the northwest of Saigon for a half-day tour of Cu Chi Tunnels - a vast underground defending system of Viet Cong during Vietnam War, which housed up to 10,000 people. The tunnels were constructed with hospitals, living rooms, kitchens, storage...and working areas also in an approximate length of 250km. The remaining tunnels, nowadays, are a must-see destination for tourists who come to Vietnam to get a view of the underground life during the war time. You can also join a shooting trial using an AK47 or MK16 with separate fees.

In the afternoon, get on a guided tour visiting some city key sites such as the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Post Office and Ben Thanh market. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Saigon - Mekong Delta (Ben Tre) Day Trip

After breakfast at your hotel, our driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby then take you on a 2-hour drive to Ben Tre Province. Along the route, we stop in Tien Giang for a short visit of the Vinh Trang Pagoda - an ancient southern architectural gem. Arrive in Hung Vuong pier in Ben Tre, we will take a boat trip on Ben Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river, observing lively activities along the river such as fishing and water transferring…First stop will be a local brickwork where bricks are made manually in the traditional way, then we visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Then we disembark via boat, enjoy a leisure walk or bike ride to the local family for lunch.

In the afternoon, continue walking in a village which makes sleeping mats and then take a relaxing row boat along the palm creek and boat back to Hung Vuong Pier. Our driver will be waiting there and transfers you back to your hotel in Saigon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Saigon - Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is your last day in Saigon. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then wander around the city for last minute shopping or sightseeing before getting transferred to Saigon Airport for your onward flight.
