Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Bangkok

Arrival at Bangkok Airport. Pick-up by your English speaking guide. Transfer by public Airport Link to the city center. Private escort to your hotel. Afternoon, free time for leisure. Visits, ‘spa’ treatments or traditional Thai massage possible on request (optional). Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02: Koh Samui

Breakfast served in your hotel. Pick-up by your guide at your hotel lobby. Private tour by public transportation. Visit Koh Kred Island, located in the northern outskirts of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River. Tour around the island by bicycle. Afternoon: Resume the tour around the island by bicycle. Back to Bangkok by public transportation. End of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 03: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi

Breakfast served in your hotel. Morning: Pick-up by your guide at your hotel lobby. Joining-up tour to Kanchanaburi. Visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, a war cemetery and the Thai-Burmese Railway Center. Back on the road to Saiyoke district. Embark on a motorized pirogue to your hotel. Afternoon: Discover the historical site of the Hell Fire Pass. Back to your hotel by the road and by motorized pirogue. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04:  Kanchanaburi - Bangkok

Breakfast served in your hotel. Morning: Pick-up by your guide at your hotel lobby. Group tour with public transportation. Visit the village of the Mon ethnic group located near your hotel. Transfer to Namtok train station. Afternoon: Board the Death Railway Train for a ride through the local jungle. Joining-up transfer back to Bangkok. Arrival at Bangkok train station. Board the night train to Chiang Mai. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Chiang Mai

Arrival in Chiang Mai train station. Pick-up by your local guide. Joining-up transfer to your hotel. Morning, Free time to discover Chiang Mai by yourself or book a local tour (optional). Afternoon, Free time to discover Chiang Mai by yourself or book a local tour (optional). At 18h00 meet with the local guide who will accompany you during the next day’s trek. Briefing session about the trek at your hotel lobby. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Chiang Mai

Breakfast served in your hotel. Morning, Pick-up by your guide at your hotel lobby. Joining-up tour with private transportation. Transfer to the region of Mae Teng, where the trek starts – First part of the trek passing by a waterfall, a village of the Shan ethnic group and trails in the heart of the jungle. Afternoon, Second part of the trek to a village of the Karen ethnic group. Arrival in the village, discover the village and your accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Chiang Mai

Shared breakfast served in the village. Morning, Trek to an Elephant farm and discover the village. Afternoon, Elephant riding in the jungle to another ethnic village. Arrival in the village. Discover the village and your accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, Trek and descent of the local river by bamboo raft to a village of the Lahú ethnic group. Arrival in the village. Discover the village. Afternoon, Trek to the Shan village where the trek started. Arrival in the village. Group transfer back to Chiang Mai. Arrival in Chiang Mai. Drop-off at the train station, your hotel or the airport.
