Itinerary


Day 01: Arrive in Delhi and transfer to Agra

Welcome to Delhi. As soon as you land, our local representative will assist you and transfer you to Agra. The road journey takes 4 hours approximately. Once you reach, check-in to the hotel and settle in. Start your Seven Wonders of the World package by visiting the epitome of love – The Taj Mahal. The white marble mausoleum was constructed around 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took some 20,000 labourers and craftsmen 22 years to build this iconic monument of love. Get charmed by the classical gardens, the reflecting pools and the elaborate patterns of semi-precious stones decorating the white marble. The design reflects Mughal and Persian architecture. One of the most spectacular features of The Taj Mahal is the onion-shaped dome above the tomb that has the entire Quran inscribed on it. Head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Exploring Agra

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast and set out to explore Agra some more. The Taj Mahal is the most breathtaking in the soft morning and evening light. So it is worth a visit in the early morning or sunset when the white marble glows in different hues of the colours. Today, you can catch the beautiful sunrise while being mesmerised by The Taj and click lots of pictures. Optional: If you have some time in hand, you can also visit the nearby attractions like the grandiose Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, Jama Mosque, and Tomb of I’timad-ud-Daulah.You can also check out the local Kinari Bazaar to shop for some accessories and jewellery. Day 03: Agra to Beijing

Start your day with an early breakfast and check out of the hotel. Transfer to Delhi International Airport to take your flight to Beijing, China. The flight takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. As soon as you land, our local representative will transfer you to the hotel. Once you reach, check-in to the hotel and settle in. Today, you can visit The Great Wall of China. This UNESCO World Heritage Site exhibits the brilliance of Ming Dynasty. This architectural marvel can be witnessed from several segments and sections, Badaling is the most popular one. If you are an adventure junkie, you can even hike the segment of the wall between Jinshanling and Simatai. Soak in the jaw-dropping views from the top of The Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China so that it can be protected against any raids and attacks. The entire wall measures out to be 21,196 kilometres. With amazing views and steep climbs, the trek to The Great Wall of China really gets your heart thumping. Head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Exploring Beijing

Post an early breakfast, get ready for a fun-filled day ahead. Today, you can explore the Mutianyu section of The Great Wall of China which is relatively less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. You can spot 23 towers on the Mutianyu snaking the ridge for about 3,000 meters. The 23rd tower is the highest point of the Wall. The Mutianyu Pass was built in the year 1404. Mutianyu Great Wall was first constructed in Northern Qi (550-577). The wall protects the border of China from any invasion from the nomadic groups. It has Juyongguan in the west and Gubeikou in the east. Enjoy the hike through the towers on the Great Wall and learn about the history behind it. In the evening, you can enjoy a Golden Mask Dynasty Show with grand sets, colourful costumes and amazing performances. Head back to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Beijing to Amman and transfer to Petra

Post an early breakfast, check out of the hotel. Make your way to the airport to catch your flight to Amman, Jordan. The flight duration is approximately 13 to 15 hours. As soon as you land, our local representative will transfer you to Petra by road. The road journey takes about 3 hours approximately. Once you reach Petra, check-in to the hotel and settle in. Make sure you rest enough today after a long day of travel and rejuvenate yourself. Tomorrow you can set out to explore the magical city of Petra. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Exploring Petra

Post a delicious breakfast, get ready for an amazing day ahead. Today, you can visit the world-renowned archaeological site of Petra that once served as the Nabatean Kingdom’s capital. Petra has nestled away in a secluded valley surrounded by rugged mountains and a lunar-like landscape of rock formations. It was rediscovered in the 1800s and sees a lot of tourists from all over the world. You can travel on foot or on horseback down a towering narrow canyon called Al-Siq to reach the Treasury. The Treasury is illuminated by the glow of thousands of candles laid out on the floor in the evening. The ancient city houses more than 800 registered sites that include 500 tombs, a Roman rock-carved street, and an 8,000-seat amphitheatre. Al Khazneh is the most famous temples of all in the rose city of Petra. Petra is an incredible blend of natural beauty and archaeology. Day 07: Petra to Rome

Post an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and make your way to Amman InternationalAirport to board your flight to Rome. The flight takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. As soon as you land, our local representative will transfer you to the hotel. Once you reach, check-in to the hotel and settle in. The remaining of the day is at leisure. You can either rest in the hotel or you can check out other popular attractions of Rome. Some of the top places that you can visit include the Pantheon, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter’s Basilica and other Vatican Museums. It is important to check the timings of the attractions you wish to visit as most of the tourist spots close by 7 – 7:30 p.m. However, you can enjoy the nightlife at Piazza Navona which is Rome’s central square. Head back to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08: Exploring Rome

Start your day with a healthy breakfast and get ready to explore Rome some more. Today, you can visit one of the iconic Seven Wonders of the World, the Colosseum. Built out of mainly sand and concrete, Colosseum is the largest surviving amphitheatre in the world. It was built between 70 AD and 72 AD by the popular Emperor Vespasian. An astounding achievement in terms of Roman engineering and an architectural marvel, Rome\s Colosseum boasts a colourful theatrical history of events. The brilliant structure has stood more than the test of time in the past when it was almost destroyed by earthquakes and damaged by fire. It was used to stage bloody and gory gladiatorial fights and even public executions in the past. It was also used variously as a bull-fighting arena until it was gradually consecrated in the year 1749 and restored. Later, head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Rome to Cancun

Post an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cancun, Mexico. The flight takes approximately 16 to 20 hours. Day 10: Exploring Cancun

Post an early breakfast, get ready to have a fun-filled day ahead. On day 10 of your Seven Wonders of the World tour package, visit the renowned city of Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza boasts of a UNESCO World Heritage Site of a massive temple – El Castillo which is built in the shape of a pyramid. It is dedicated to the God of Kukulkan, and the structure consists of 91 steps on each side. When totalled with the final step of the temple, it equals the number of days in the Haab year i.e. 365 days. This pyramid temple is 90 feet tall and was built during the 11th to 13th centuries. The architecture of the pyramid encodes information about the Mayan culture and is directionally oriented to mark the solstices and equinoxes. Learn about the historical background of this structure and explore it at your own pace. Later, head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Cancun to Peru

Start your day early with a healthy breakfast and check out of the hotel. Make your way to the airport to board your flight to Peru. The flight takes anywhere between 6 to 10 hours. You also have the option to explore Peru on your own and check out the nearby attractions like the Sacred Valley, Colca Canyon, Saksaywaman, and Islas Ballestas to name a few. Day 12: Exploring Peru

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and get ready to visit the architectural wonder of Machu Picchu. Perched high on the Andes Mountains and made out of limestone that is mortar-free, Macchu Picchu is one of the most classic Seven Wonders of the World. It dates back to as old as the 15th century and is one of the world-famous structures of the Inca civilization known for its dry-stone walls. The Inca Trail is among the popular trails for walking and hiking. There are vantage points at every corner. The 26-mile long trail traverses tropical forests, cloud forests, and Incan ruins. All along, you can feast your eyes on the panoramic views from the top of the mountain that leave you in sheer awe. Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca Emperor Pachacuti between the years 1438 and 1472. Take your time in exploring these Incan ruins and click lots of pictures. Head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13:-Peru to Rio de Janeiro

Start your day with an early breakfast and check out of the hotel. Make your way to the airport to board your flight to Rio, Brazil. The flight takes approximately 6 to 9 hours. As soon as you land our local representative will transfer you to the hotel. Once you reach, check-in to the hotel and settle in. The day is at leisure. You can relax at the hotel and get some much-needed rest. Or if you feel like exploring the city on your own, you can check out some of the popular attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain, Ipanema, and Maracana Stadium. You can also relax with your family at the Copacabana Beach against the backdrop of beautiful sound of the waves. Later, head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Exploring Rio de Janeiro

Start your day with an early breakfast and get ready to witness the epic structure of Christ the Redeemer. Situated on top of the Corcovado Mountain in Tijuca Forest National Park, the wonderful statue of Christ the Redeemer is perched at a height of 700 meters. It was built during the period of 1922 to 1931 and overlooks the entire city of Rio. The statue is a great symbol of the Christian community and is highly regarded in Brazil and Rio. The giant statue is 130-foot tall with the arms of the Jesus gracefully outstretched. Underneath the plinth of the statue is a Catholic chapel. Some tourists are drawn to the statue for its spirituality while some simply go to witness its magical charisma and 360-degree views from the top. Once you arrive at the top, via rail or taxi, there are 220 steps for you to climb to reach the statue. There are also elevators if you don’t wish to take the stairs. While you are up there, enjoy the unobstructed views of miles of beaches, forests and landscapes below. Later, head back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15: Departure
