Day 01: Arrival Reykjavik
Meet and greet upon arrival at Reykjavik International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik. Check into Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: In Reykjavik
Breakfast at Hotel. Today morning we will go for a Guided Panoramic City Tour of Reykjavik. On this tour you'll get to enjoy a view over Reykjavik from Perlan dome, explore the oldest part of the city and visit the Hallgrímskirkja church who's design was inspired by basalt lava columns and Icelandic nature. Explore the farm style Presidential Residence at Bessastaðir and the town Hafnarfjörður, where a mysterious race of “hidden people” lives in perfect harmony with the human population. In the afternoon we will go on the second leg of our tour which is packed with geological intrigue and historic legacy featuring National Park Þingvellir; Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring area.This tour of the Golden Circle gives you the opportunity to visit Thingvellir National Park , where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930 AD. In 2004 Thingvellir National Park was added to the UNESCO's World Heritage List. We continue to Gullfoss waterfall and the spouting hot spring area around Geysir and Strokkur. Some free time to explore this beautiful area. Later we return to Reykjavik and some time to explore the area. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Reykjavik – Borgarfjordur
Breakfast at Hotel. Today we proceed to Borgarfjordur via the geothermal fields and hot springs of Deildatunguhver, Hraunfossar waterfall and the historic Saga site of Reykholt. Arrive and check into hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Borgarfjordur
Breakfast at Hotel. Today we head to the town of Borgarnes and visit the Icelandic Settlement Centre. In the evening visit nearby markets for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Borgarfjordur – Snaefellsnes
Breakfast at Hotel. Today we head to the Snaefellsnes peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Arrive and check into hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Snaefellsnes
Breakfast at Hotel. Explore the Snaefellsnes peninsula and head to Stykkisholmur on Breidafjordur, Iceland's largest bay. Continue along the peninsula to the Snaefellsjokull Glacier which was the inspiration for Jules Verne's classic adventure, Voyage to the Centre of the Earth and visit the villages of Hellnar and Arnarstapi known for their seasonal colonies of nesting birds. Later return to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Snaefellsnes – Reykjavik
Breakfast at Hotel. We proceed back to Reykjavik today. Rest of the day free at leisure to do last minute shopping in Reykjavik. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Depart Reykjavik
Breakfast at Hotel. Day free at leisure until departure transfer to Airport.
