After breakfast depart by surface to Allepey, and check in the AC Houseboat to enjoy the cruise on backwaters. With the Arabian sea on the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is a district of immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world, this backwater country is also home ot diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappauzha has grown in importance as a backwater tourist centre, attracting several thousands of foreign tourists each year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singular characteristic of this land is the region called Kuttanad. DAY 07 : ALLEPEY - COCHIN ( 55 Kms. and takes approx.. 1 Hrs. )
After breakfast depart by surface to Cochin, On arrival transfer to Hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting ,St.Francis Church : Built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan Friars, this is India's oldest European church. Chinese Fishing Net :Lined along the sea front, these fishing nets exhibit a mechanical method of catching fish, introduced by Chinese traders from the court of Kublai Khan. Jewish Synagogue : Constructed in 1568, this is the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth. Destroyed in a shelling, during the Portuguese raid in 1662, it was rebuilt two years later by the Dutch. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 : DEPART COCHIN
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.

How many people will be on my trip?

Can I just do part of the trip?
Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the end of the trip, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

It was not a planned trip actually. But I’m really impressed with my stay. So I’m planning for my next vacation. Service they provided was excellent. Especially the yoga and Ayurveda treatment which they are provided during my stay was amazing. River view room where we stayed is on the very bank of Periyar river.
Kerala traditional architecture is used to construct the rooms and it is preserved as Eco-friendly. Perfect vegetarian food is also available in different cuisines. -
