DAY 01 - ARRIVE IN DELHI (STAY AT THE OBEROI, DELHI)
This is the capital city of India, and can be called as a major gateway to India. Delhi is one of the most important metropolitan in India, as it is the city of power. It has a very good combination of both modern, as well as ancient culture. In these 3000 years of its existence, there has been the origin of seven more cities, where the traditional Indian capital is. Strategic location, mixture of modern and Indian culture, rich history, medieval market, beside the modern ones etc are the main reasons for choosing it, as the seat of power. Delhi is a city waiting to be explored. It is also known as the Headquarters of Indian politics, as most of the heads of the Indian government and other political parties; reside here, including the Prime Minister, and President of the country. DAY 02 - DELHI TO JAIPUR (STAY AT THE OBEROI RAJVILAS, JAIPUR)
After breakfast depart by surface to Jaipur. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color washed pink-the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Beautiful city along with Agra and Delhi form what is known as the Golden Triangle of Indian tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honour of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial . There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colorful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are worth admiration. Not to mention the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi-hued costumes that make your trip to the pink city a memorable one. Over night at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 - IN JAIPUR
After breakfast City tour visiting City Palace , the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a grand view of the city down below. Other attractions include the Jaigarh Fort, Birla Mandir, and Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 - IN JAIPUR
FULL DAY PUSHKAR OPTIONAL - Pushkar is one of the frequently visited tourist destinations of Rajasthan. Characterised by a picturesque valley, mountainous regions, uncommon scenic spots, and several pilgrimage sites of importance, Pushkar is known all over. It also makes one of the revered Hindu pilgrimage sites of India and houses the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. The flow of tourists to Pushkar increases exceptionally during the time of the camel fair. The locals here are very hospitable and they dress up with their best during this much-awaited camel fair. Their colourful veils, turbaned heads, and colourfully dyed skirts, with sounds of the ektara and the soulful tunes of the Rajasthani folk songs make the nights of the Pushkar equally pleasing. DAY 05 - JAIPUR TO UDAIPUR (STAY AT THE OBEROI UDAIVILAS, UDAIPUR)
After breakfast depart by surface to Udaipur. Located in the Aravalli ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405 km from the state capital Jaipur. The city is well connected through air, rail, and road to other important cities of India like Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences. Right from the medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. According to legend, the Maharana was out hunting one day when he met a holy man meditating on a hill overlooking the Lake Pichola. The hermit blessed the Maharana and told him to built a palace at that very spot, as it would be well protected. The Maharana followed the holy man”s advice and Udaipur came into being. Today, Udaipur is a one of the better-known tourist destinations of India. Summers in Udaipur are quite hot with temperature going up to 38°C during the day. Winters are relatively pleasant with temperature remaining at around 28°C during day and up to 11°C during night. The winters are the best time to visit historic city. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 - IN UDAIPUR
After breakfast city tour of Udaipur. If Jaipur is a city in pink, Udaipur is a study in white. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens. The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and its museum has stunning collection of objects collected by different Maharanas of Udaipur over the centuries. The Picholia Lake, Udai Sagar, and Pratap Sagar are some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Some other attractions in the city are the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jag Mandir, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Pratap Memorial, and Ahar Museum. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 07 - UDAIPUR TO JODHPUR VIA RANAKPUR (STAY AT RAAS, JODHPUR)
After breakfast depart by surface to Jodhpur. Set at the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of he desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state , it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana . While the graceful palaces , forts and temples strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur, exquisite handicrafts , folk dances music and the brightly attired people lend a romantic aura to the city. The jumble of wide winding streets are flanked with pavement stalls. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 - IN JODHPUR
After breakfast City tour visiting Mehrangarh Fort – This massive fort is the most impressive and formidable structure in Jodhpur . Jaswant Thada – A cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Umaid Bhawan Palace – The only 20th century palace built under the famine relief project that gave employment to famine struck population. The palace was completed in 16 years. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09 - JODHPUR TO JAISALMER (STAY AT SURYAGARH, JAISALMER )
After breakfast depart by surface to Jaisalmer. Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone stands, with all its awesome splendour, dominating the amber-hued city. Located at the heart of the great Thar Desert, it offers the visitor an enchanting world of fable, colour, and history. Moreover, the magnificent wood-and stone-carved mansions and buildings display the love and interest Rajputs had for the fine arts. The desert festival held here by the end of the winter season, during the months of January and February, attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. Overnight At Hotel.
DAY 10 - IN JAISALMER
After breakfast City tour visiting the massive Jaisalmer Fort , the second oldest fort in Rajasthan after Chittaur , Patwon ki Haveli, the grandest haveli of Jaisalmer , Desert Culture centre and museums gives you some glimpse of this small town’s past. The Jain temples meet your religious taste, Salim Singh ki haveli and Nathmal-ki-haveli give you some more idea of the haveli architecture of the town. Besides these, Gadsisar Lake is also an interesting spot to visit in this desert city. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 11 - RETURN TO DELHI (STAY AT THE OBEROI, DELHI)
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. Overnight at Hotel.

How many people will be on my trip?
Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. The Golden Triangle with Rajasthan is a busy trip, but it gets you to all the main sights effortlessly. It was an excellent introduction for me to India and I thoroughly enjoyed the destinations, the people and the culture. I loved every minute and cannot wait to visit India again.
