General FAQs

  • How many people will be on my trip?

Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travelers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.

  • Can I just do part of the trip?

Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the end of the trip, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

This was a great tour of the most touristy areas of Delhi, Agra, and Rajasthan. The tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their work. They provided lots and lots of information about each of the sites visited. The driver stayed with us for the entire duration of the trip and did an amazing job of taking us everywhere we needed. The hotel in Agra was great, but the hotel in Jaipur, although nice, modern, and comfortable, was a bit out of the way and breakfast not up to standards. Overall, this was a great tour and is highly recommended.

Excellent trip! Visited beautiful sites, learned about the history and culture and had delicious food, while staying in luxurious accommodations.Days were full and interesting and I was surprised at how cool the north of India is in December and should have taken more warm clothes. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

We did the 10-day Golden Triangle tour with Rajsthan in India. Our guide made this tour an exceptional cultural experience for us. We visited temples while ceremonies were being held, helped volunteers make chapatis in a Sikh ‘soup kitchen’, learned about block printing textiles, gem stones and rug weaving and more. The dinners our guide planned in the gardens of Heritage hotels were magical. We had access to experiences we never would have had on our own. I highly recommend & Special Thanks to Exotic Luxury Holiday Team.

This is a well planned 4-day tour. The tour guides are knowledgable. We liked the Agra guide the most. We got to see a lot of places in a short time though the Jaipur trip was short and we would have liked to see more. The places where the driver stopped for lunch and dinner were just ok. The driving was rash and we did not like that.

We booked this tour as we had a limited time in India and it appeared to be an easy way to get around. The tour was very well organized, was always on time but allowed us time to see what we wanted and all the tour guides were very knowledgeable, in short, we had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone.

The Golden Triangle with Rajasthan is a busy trip, but it gets you to all the main sights effortlessly. It was an excellent introduction for me to India and I thoroughly enjoyed the destinations, the people and the culture. I loved every minute and cannot wait to visit India again.

As we had limited time in India, we decided to book this tour – what a great decision that turned out to be! We were picked up at the airport by our wonderful driver, we felt safe at all times on the very busy roads. The car was comfortable and air-conditioned, and we had a constant supply of cold drinks which was so welcome as it was very hot. We had a designated guide at every destination, they were all very knowledgeable, and really enhanced our visit. We stopped for lunch each day at great local restaurants, the food was fantastic. We stayed in some excellent hotels.! The tour was well organised, and we packed so much into the 10 days, I don’t believe this would have been possible if we had organised the trip ourselves. This tour is highly recommended, we loved it.

I had an amazing time with this tour company! As a solo female traveller, I was afraid to go to India.. and even with a tour company, I was still a little bit unsure. However, my uneasiness and my fear disappeared quickly when I met my driver and my tour guide in New Delhi. They made sure that I was happy, safe, and enjoying my time. I love the fact that the tour guide and the driver were friendly and accommodating as well. They were amazing, and I would definitely use this company again in the future. The owner of this company is also very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. If you decide to go to India and need a tour company that will plan everything ahead of time for you, use this company! I just went to India and didn’t have to worry about anything because they took care of everything for me! It was a blast!
