DAY 01 - ARRIVE IN DELHI (STAY AT THE MAIDENS, DELHI)

This is the capital city of India, and can be called as a major gateway to India. Delhi is one of the most important metropolitan in India, as it is the city of power. It has a very good combination of both modern, as well as ancient culture. In these 3000 years of its existence, there has been the origin of seven more cities, where the traditional Indian capital is. Strategic location, mixture of modern and Indian culture, rich history, medieval market, beside the modern ones etc are the main reasons for choosing it, as the seat of power. Delhi is a city waiting to be explored. It is also known as the Headquarters of Indian politics, as most of the heads of the Indian government and other political parties; reside here, including the Prime Minister, and President of the country.

DAY 02 - IN DELHI (B)

After breakfast City tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat , where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated . Red Fort , Made by Mughal Empror Shahjahan , Jama Masjid , The largest in India, It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk , this main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar, known as Chandni Chowk. It has very sharp contrast to the open, spacious streets of Delhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple , dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune . India Gate , this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial . It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of WW I .Rashtrapati Bhawan - This palace-like building is the official residence of the President of India and an interesting blend of Mughal and western architectural styles . Qutab Minar - The highest monument of India, Qutb Minar is 72.5 m high, tapering from 2.75 m in diameter at its peak, to 14.32 m at its base, and alternating angular and rounded flutings. Humayun's Tomb , is mausoleum of the Mughal emperor Humayun. Bahai Temple , or the Lotus Temple is a marvel of modern architecture. Set among pools and gardens, adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03 - DELHI TO AGRA (STAY AT THE TRIDENT, AGRA) (B) 243 Km, 4 hr

After breakfast depart by surface to Agra. Afternoon City tour visiting, Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) makes an interesting sight. Other major attractions include the tomb of Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra, Rambagh, the Mughal Garden and Dayal Bagh Temple, Itmad Ud Dauula. Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04 - AGRA TO RANTHAMBHORE VIA BHARATPUR (STAY AT THE TAJ SAWAI MADHOPUR LODGE) (B) 297 Km, 5 hr 54 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Ranthambore. Ranthambore is one of the many famous destinations of the western state of India, Rajasthan. Generally a visit to Ranthambore means a visit to the tiger reserve here. However, the place has much more to offer you in sightseeing and excursions. Surrounded by the Vindhya and Aravali hill ranges and located very near to the outer fringes of the Thar Desert, Ranthambore offers you the best of the desert land as well as plain area near the hills. Due to its proximity to the Thar desert, the vegetation here is that of deciduous forest. Ranthambore used to be the hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Later it was declared as a game sanctuary in 1955. In 1980, it was declared as a national park and listed among the reserves protected under Project Tiger. Ranthambore is also considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. In Ranthambore you can indulge in any of the adventurous activities that the park offers. A Jeep Safari, a cultural and traditional experience of the Meena tribes, a night out in the many hideouts in the park are some of the options you must not miss. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05 - IN RANTHAMBHORE (B)

There are many interesting spots for you to see in Ranthambore. The park is regarded as the most suitable place for wildlife photography in the world. Here you can capture the tiger in its various moods and moments. Besides the Ranthambore Park, there are places like the Ranthambore Fort (one of it’s kind in the entire state of Rajasthan), Jogi Mahal (the wonderful forest guest house) and the various species of flora and fauna which are also worth a look. While in Ranthambore you can also get the feel of local customs and traditions of the region. A Jeep safari followed by the dinner consisting of the region’s delicacies is an experience not to be missed. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 06 - RANTHAMBHORE TO JAIPUR (STAY AT SAMODE HAVELI, JAIPUR) (B) 189 Km, 3 hr 39 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Jaipur. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color washed pink-the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Beautiful city along with Agra and Delhi form what is known as the Golden Triangle of Indian tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honour of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial . There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colorful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are worth admiration. Not to mention the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi-hued costumes that make your trip to the pink city a memorable one. Over night at Hotel.

DAY 07 - IN JAIPUR (B)

After breakfast City tour visiting City Palace , the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a grand view of the city down below. Other attractions include the Jaigarh Fort, Birla Mandir, and Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08 - JAIPUR TO JODHPUR (STAY AT AJIT BHAWAN, JODHPUR) (B) 334 Km, 5 hr 41 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Jodhpur. Set at the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of he desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state , it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana . While the graceful palaces , forts and temples strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur, exquisite handicrafts , folk dances music and the brightly attired people lend a romantic aura to the city. The jumble of wide winding streets are flanked with pavement stalls. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 09 - IN JODHPUR (B)

After breakfast City tour visiting Mehrangarh Fort – This massive fort is the most impressive and formidable structure in Jodhpur . Jaswant Thada – A cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Umaid Bhawan Palace – The only 20th century palace built under the famine relief project that gave employment to famine struck population. The palace was completed in 16 years. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 10 - JODHPUR TO NARLAI (STAY AT RAWLA NARLAI, NARLAI) (B) 130 Km, 2 hr 19 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Narlai. Also known as Rawal Narlai, this place is situated 25 km beyond Kumbhalgarh Fort. It is famous for its 17th-century fort. It is also a renowned Hindu and Jain pilgrimage. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 11 - NARLAI TO UDAIPUR VIA RANAKPUR (STAY AT AMET HAVELI, UDAIPUR) (B) 121 Km, 2 hr

After breakfast depart by surface to Udaipur. Located in the Aravalli ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405 km from the state capital Jaipur. The city is well connected through air, rail, and road to other important cities of India like Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences. Right from the medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. According to legend, the Maharana was out hunting one day when he met a holy man meditating on a hill overlooking the Lake Pichola. The hermit blessed the Maharana and told him to built a palace at that very spot, as it would be well protected. The Maharana followed the holy man”s advice and Udaipur came into being. Today, Udaipur is a one of the better-known tourist destinations of India. Summers in Udaipur are quite hot with temperature going up to 38°C during the day. Winters are relatively pleasant with temperature remaining at around 28°C during day and up to 11°C during night. The winters are the best time to visit historic city. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 12 - IN UDAIPUR (B)

After breakfast city tour of Udaipur. If Jaipur is a city in pink, Udaipur is a study in white. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens. The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and its museum has stunning collection of objects collected by different Maharanas of Udaipur over the centuries. The Picholia Lake, Udai Sagar, and Pratap Sagar are some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Some other attractions in the city are the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jag Mandir, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Pratap Memorial, and Ahar Museum. Overnight at Hotel.

    We visited Luxury Rajasthan tour this year through Exotic Luxury Holiday, it was an excellent tour. All services were perfect.. car, hotel etc…. We enjoyed the places- Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur etc.

    This is our first time in India. We want to have a hassle free trip as many people warned us about scams in India. Rajasthan tour offered us a luxury trip with flexible itinerary. He offered luxurious hotels. If u want a cheap and great place to shop, Really had so much fun. Thank you for the great experience. Super recommended!

    The Golden Triangle with Rajasthan is a busy trip, but it gets you to all the main sights effortlessly. It was an excellent introduction for me to India and I thoroughly enjoyed the destinations, the people and the culture. I loved every minute and cannot wait to visit India again.
