DAY 01 - ARRIVE IN DELHI – OPENING TOUR OF DELHI

DAY 02 - IN DELHI – DELHI’S ETHOS AND ANTIQUITY (B)

After breakfast full day combined city tour Old & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Red Fort, Made by Mughal Empror Shahjahan, Jama Masjid, The largest in India, It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk, this main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar, known as Chandni Chowk. It has very sharp contrast to the open, spacious streets of Delhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. India Gate, this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial. It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of WWI. DAY 03 – DELHI TO JAIPUR – THE GRANDEUR PINK CITY OF JAIPUR (B) 273 Km, 5 hr

After breakfast depart by surface to Jaipur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon orientation tour. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color washed pink-the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Beautiful city along with Agra and Delhi form what is known as the Golden Triangle of Indian tourist circuit. DAY 04 – IN JAIPUR – MAJESTIC AMBER FORTRESS AND BUSTLE OF JOHARI BAZAAR (B)

After breakfast full day city tour visiting City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a grand view of the city down below. DAY 05 – JAIPUR TO RANTHAMBORE – TOUR THE NATIONAL PARK (B) 190 Km, 3 hr 28 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Ranthambore. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon Jeep Safari to the jungle following different trails inside park. DAY 06 - RANTHAMBORE TO AGRA – DISCOVER THE TAJ MAHAL AND AGRA FORT (B) 297 Km, 5 hr 30 min

After breakfast depart by surface to Agra. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon City tour visiting, Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) makes an interesting sight. DAY 07 – AGRA TO DELHI FLY VARANASI – STUNNING TOUR OF THE SACRED CITY - SPLENDID TOUR OF THE HOLY CITY (B)

In time transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival meet assist at the airport & transfer to hotel. The city of Varanasi is situated along the west bank of the Ganges in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Called Benaras by the British, Varanasi is an important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. The city finds mention in the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana. Down the ages, pilgrims from distant lands have come to Varanasi in search of divine blessings. Summers can be quite harsh in Varanasi with the temperatures going up to 45°C. The monsoon season, which starts by late June or early July, brings in the torrential rains and high humidity. Winters are quite pleasant with temperatures remaining at around 20°C in the day. However, the early part of the day can remain enveloped in the fog. Night stay in Varanasi.

DAY 08 – IN VARANASI – FEEL BLESSED IN THE GANGA AARTI CEREMONY (B)

After breakfast city tour of Varanasi. Temples form the major source of attraction in this ancient city. The banks of the Ganges, considered to be a sacred river by the Hindus, are the centre of much of the religious activity that occurs in the city. The ghats built along the banks of the river for such religious activity also form a major source of attraction here. Some of the other interesting places to visit around the city are Alamgir Mosque, Durga Temple, Vishwanat Temple, Bharat Mata temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Banaras Hindu University and the Archaeological Museum. DAY 09 - VARANASI TO DELHI– BACK TO HOME (B)

How many people will be on my trip?

Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Excellent trip! Visited beautiful sites, learned about the history and culture and had delicious food, while staying in luxurious accommodations. Days were full and interesting and I was surprised at how cool the north of India is in December and should have taken more warm clothes. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Loved it. Went for the Luxury experience and i was very pleased with the overall tour. The guide was not only nice and helpful, but also extremely knowledgeable of all the details about the sites we visited. This was indeed a private tour, which seems costly for one when you look at the price – but the experience was surely worth it. i would definitely use their services again.

The tour was amazing and everything was nicely arranged, and there were a variety of facilities with included transfers from the airport to the hotel. We have covered all the places mentioned in the itinerary. Best experience!
